Introducing accessories made from Jute dyed with natural plant dyes. This unique collection is made by a Social Empowerment Group for Tribal women in Kishanganj,Bihar, India. The mission of the group is to tackle the unemployment crisis in tribal areas of Bihar, India. The tribal women acquire new skills through training programmes which allows them to make sustainable accessories and jewellery from locally available natural sources such as jute.
Each product is a produced ethically and women are treated in ethical, fair working conditions. Each product creates new opportunities for the women towards a sustainable livelihoods.
Properties: Light weight unbleached jute. Naturally dyed with plant extracts. Ear hangs made from surgical steel.
