Textiles are an essential part of everyday life and anything made from natural fibres are kind to our earth. Many communities around the world still practice traditional textile making, using natural fibres on a hand-loom and using plant extracts as dyes. But these textile producing skills have diminished over the years, impacting artisan livelihoods.

By combining our love for the earth, humanity and design to create functional products, we are advocating and bringing awareness towards slow and mindful consumption of our resources.

Our actions preserve the planet, empowers the lives of artisan communities and provides possibilities to future generations.

The Native Loom is a social enterprise providing opportunities to people from rural artisan communities in Southern India.

We produce natural textile products that support our ecological balance while supporting livelihoods.
