Wooden block printing workshop on fabric-Morning session Porirua

Come along for a fun and creative session of learning how to print using wooden blocks.

What to bring ? : bring along an apron

What to expect?

• Learn about history of Indian textile art
• Learn how to use the wooden blocks to make different patterns
• Create your own unique prints on paper and fabric.
• You will be taking home 2 X hand printed greeting cards , 1X canvas tote bag or pouch (whatever is available in stock) and 2x printed cotton napkins. Total of 5 items.

Your trainer for the afternoon is Sneha and she is the founder of the social enterprise The Native Loom. She is a creative human , photographer, entrepreneur and proud mom to her three year toddler old, Harshie.

Sneha will demonstrate how to use the wooden blocks and create your patterns on paper then on fabric. She will be available hands on for any guidance/assistance or questions you may have.
